Background

In years past, Santa Clara University’s Cycling Team has been a major contender in Colligate Cycling events ranging from the state to national level. Established in 1986, Santa Clara is a well recognized and respected team in California. Last year was an injury filled year for the club, with two of our best riders suffering season ending injuries in the beginning of February while training. These riders are now healthy and ready to race for the team along with a very promising freshman class boasting a few experienced racers. This year the team is 15 riders strong and with the help of our new coach Al Painter the future of Santa Clara Cycling is looking very bright.
